1) Can the WAC Cubix LED wall light be installed on a standard pancake junction box?
Yes. The Cubix single up or down wall light uses ACLED driverless technology, so there is no separate driver or transformer to hide in the wall, and it mounts to a pancake junction box. The backplate measures 4.5 inches and there is a 6 inch wire lead to make up to the box. It is hardwired, 120V input.
2) Is the Cubix LED wall light rated for exposed outdoor walls, or only under a soffit?
It carries a wet location rating and is ETL and cETL listed, so it can go on an open exterior wall exposed to rain, as well as indoors. Housing is die cast aluminum with a white acrylic diffuser.
3) Does the Cubix single throw light up or down, and can I aim it either way?
The single version (WS-W220208) is a one-direction fixture, one LED module putting light either up or down depending on how you orient the housing. It can be mounted on a wall in any orientation, so up or down is decided at install, not at order. If you want a beam in both directions from one box, that is the double up and down 12 inch version, WS-W220212.
4) What dimmer do I need for the WAC Cubix LED wall light?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer. On an ELV dimmer it runs smooth and continuous from 100 percent down to 10 percent. Standard incandescent or forward-phase TRIAC dimmers are not the specified control for this fixture.
5) How much light does the 6.75 inch Cubix single wall light actually put out?
325 lumens from a 6W LED at 3000K, with a CRI of 80. That is accent-level output, good for wall washing an entrance, a column, or a corridor, not for lighting a whole parking area. Rated life is 50,000 hours.

Three: black, bronze, and white. All three are the same 3000K single-direction fixture, so a property manager standardizing across a building can mix finishes by elevation and keep the color temperature consistent.
