1) Does the WAC Cubix up and down wall light need a driver or transformer?
No. The Cubix WS-W220212 uses WAC's AC LED driverless technology and runs directly on 120V line voltage, so there is no remote driver or transformer to find space for. It wires straight to a pancake junction box, which is what makes it workable on shallow exterior walls where there is no room for a driver box behind the fixture.
2) Can the Cubix LED wall light be used outdoors in the rain?
Yes. The Cubix double up/down wall light carries a Wet location rating and is ETL and cETL listed, so it can go on an exposed building exterior as well as indoors. The housing is die cast aluminum with a white acrylic diffuser.
3) What dimmer works with the WAC Cubix WS-W220212?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer. The Cubix dims smoothly from 100 percent down to 10 percent on an ELV control. A standard incandescent/TRIAC wall dimmer is not the specified control here, so spec ELV when you are laying out the switch legs.
4) Does the WAC Cubix meet California Title 24 for outdoor residential lighting?

If you only need a downward wash, for example over a path or a door, the single light 8 inch cube WS-W220208 does that in one direction.
7) Can the Cubix be mounted sideways or upside down?
Yes. Mounting is wall, any orientation, so you can rotate the cube to aim the two beams horizontally across a wall rather than up and down. That is useful on fence panels, columns and stair walls where a vertical wash does not suit.
