1) Can the WAC Seville WS-28021 sconce be used in a bathroom over a vanity or near a shower?
The Seville LED sconce carries a Damp location rating and an IP44 rating, so it is suited to bathroom vanity walls and covered exterior areas. Damp rated means incidental moisture and humidity are fine; it is not rated for direct spray or a wet location inside a shower enclosure.
2) Will the WS-28021 Seville sconce work on 277V commercial circuits?
Yes. The driver is universal voltage and takes 120V, 240V or 277V, and it sits concealed in the canopy, so the same part number can go on residential 120V branch circuits and 277V commercial lighting circuits without a separate transformer.
3) What dimmers work with the WAC Seville LED sconce?
It dims smoothly on electronic low voltage (ELV), TRIAC (standard forward-phase incandescent-type) or 0-10V controls. Pick the type to match the driver you are wiring into: 0-10V for a commercial control system, ELV or TRIAC for a standard residential wall box dimmer. There is no separate driver to order, the LED and driver are integrated.
4) Does the Seville WS-28021 meet California Title 24 for a bathroom or multifamily job?
Yes, it is listed as both Title 24 compliant and Title 20 compliant, and it is ETL and cETL certified for US and Canadian installations. It is not Energy Star rated and it is not ADA compliant, so for an ADA-restricted corridor projection you need a different fixture.
5) Is the WAC Seville sconce bright enough to be the only light at a bathroom vanity?
