1) What light does the WAC 1000-CON-PVC concrete pour kit fit?
The 1000-CON-PVC pour kit is made for WAC Landscape Lighting 1 inch inground indicator lights. The light seats snug inside the sleeve. It is not a universal sleeve, so if you are setting a different diameter inground fixture, this is the wrong kit.
2) What else do I need to order to install a WAC 1 inch inground indicator light in a concrete pour?
Besides the pour kit, you need a 4 inch outdoor rated junction box and trade size 1 inch schedule 80 PVC pipe for the conduit run. The kit itself comes with a dense foam cap to keep wet concrete out of the housing during the pour.
3) Can this pour kit go in a wet location like a driveway or pool deck slab?
The pour kit carries UL, cUL and IP65 wet location ratings, so it is rated for installation in concrete in outdoor, wet exposure. It is intended for concrete placement, not for loose soil or gravel sets.
4) Do I need one pour kit per indicator light?
Yes. Each kit is a single sleeve sized to one WAC 1 inch inground indicator light, so for a row of walkway or step indicators in a slab you order one 1000-CON-PVC per fixture location and set them all before the pour.
5) Is the WAC 1000-CON-PVC pour kit metal or plastic?
It is PVC. Plastic means no galvanic corrosion against rebar and nothing to rust once it is buried in the slab, which is why WAC specs it for in-concrete use rather than a metal sleeve.
6) Does the WAC concrete pour kit come in more than one finish?
