1) Can the Kone LED mini-pendant 72006-T24 be mounted on a pancake junction box?
Yes. The driver is built into the fixture rather than the canopy, so the canopy will mount to a pancake junction box. The driver accepts universal input voltage, 120V, 240V or 277V, which makes it usable on commercial 277V lighting circuits as well as residential 120V.
2) How low can this WAC mini-pendant hang, and what downrods come with it?
Three 12 inch downrods and one 6 inch downrod ship with the pendant, and 10 feet of wire is included so it can be extended to a total of 120 inches of drop. Additional downrods are sold separately; the replacement downrod numbers are RPL-ROD-IN06-AB and RPL-ROD-IN12-AB.
3) What dimmer works with the 72006-T24 LED pendant?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) or TRIAC dimmer. Those give smooth continuous dimming with the integrated driver. A standard magnetic low voltage or 0-10V control is not the right match here.
4) Is this mini-pendant rated for a bathroom or a covered exterior soffit?
It is ETL and cETL listed to UL 1598 for damp locations, so a bath, covered porch or similar damp area is within its listing. It is not rated for wet locations with direct water exposure. It is also CEC Title 24 compliant and ADA compliant, which matters on California projects and in accessible public spaces.
5) Will this pendant hang straight on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
Yes. The canopy includes a hang straight swivel, so the fixture plumbs itself on a sloped ceiling without an extra adapter.
6) Do I have to replace the whole pendant when the LED fails?
No. The light source is a high powered replaceable LED module rated at 50,000 hours, so the module can be swapped rather than scrapping the fixture. CRI is 90, which is worth noting for retail, hospitality and display work where color rendering is specified.
7) What finishes does the WAC Kone 72006-T24 mini-pendant come in?
Three finishes: Aged Brass (PD-72006-T24-AB), Black (PD-72006-T24-BK) and Brushed Nickel (PD-72006-T24-SN). For a run of pendants over an island or a bar, order all units on the same suffix so the metal matches across the group.
