Yes. The 6 inch Kone LED mini pendant is a cable-hung ceiling fixture and WAC states it can be mounted on a sloped ceiling. The round canopy measures 4.6 inches across, and the driver sits inside that canopy, so there is no separate remote driver to find a home for above the deck.
2) How low can the Kone 6 inch pendant hang over an island, and can it be shortened?
Hanging range runs from 10 inches minimum to 118 inches maximum overall, with 110 inches of cable supplied that you cut or take up to set the drop. Fixture body itself is 6 inches in diameter and 5.13 inches tall, so for a typical island you are figuring the drop from the canopy to the bottom of that 5.13 inch cone.
3) Will the WAC Kone PD-72006 work on 277V in a commercial building?
Yes. The Kone mini pendant accepts 120 to 277V, 50/60Hz input, so the same fixture runs on a 120V residential circuit or a 277V commercial lighting branch without a separate transformer. It is hardwired, not plug-in.
4) What dimmer works with the WAC Kone LED pendant?
The Kone runs on ELV, 0-10V, or TRIAC control. ELV and TRIAC dim 100 to 10 percent; 0-10V takes it further, 100 to 5 percent. Pair the 11W LED with a dimmer rated for low-wattage LED loads, and note that 0-10V is what the Title 24 special-order build uses.
5) Can I hang the Kone mini pendant in a bathroom or over a covered porch?
Damp location rated and IP44, so a bathroom outside the shower spray zone or a fully covered exterior ceiling is fine. It is not wet rated, so keep it out of open-air locations where rain reaches the fixture.
6) Is the PD-72006 Title 24 compliant for a California job?
As standard, no. Title 24 is a special order build: add the -T24 suffix, for example PD-72006-T24-SN, which comes with 0-10V dimming and a quick install canopy. That quick install canopy is only offered on the T24 version. The standard Kone does meet Title 20.
7) How bright is one Kone pendant, and how many do I need over a counter?
Each Kone delivers 255 delivered lumens at 11W in a flood distribution through a white polycarbonate diffuser, at 3000K with 90 CRI. That is accent-level output, not a room's general lighting, so plan on a row of several over a counter or island rather than one doing the whole job.
8) Does the WAC Kone pendant take a replaceable bulb?
No. The light source is an integrated LED, supplied with the fixture and rated for 50,000 hours. There is no socket and no lamp to stock, so specify the color temperature at order time because it cannot be changed later.
9) What finishes does the 6 inch Kone mini pendant come in?
Three: Aged Brass, Black, and Satin Nickel, all at 3000K. The satin nickel build is PD-72006-SN. Housing is aluminum with a white polycarbonate diffuser, so the finish is on the metal cone and canopy.
