WAC Lighting PD-84907-T24-CH – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What dimmer works with the WAC Vornado LED pendant?
The Vornado pendant dims on an ELV (electronic low voltage) dimmer. A standard incandescent/forward-phase wall dimmer is the wrong control here and will usually give you flicker or a limited range. Spec an ELV-type dimmer and confirm the pendant count falls inside that dimmer's load range.
2) Do I need to buy bulbs for the WAC Vornado 7 inch pendant?
No separate lamp to order. It is an integrated LED module, supplied with the fixture, at 3000K warm white and 1410 lumens. There is no socket, so there is no relamping and no bulb SKU to keep on the shelf. When the module reaches end of life the fixture is replaced rather than lamped.
3) How big is the WAC Vornado 7 inch mini pendant and how does it mount?
It measures 7.44 inches in both length and width with a height of 7.5 inches, and it is a ceiling-mount, hardwired fixture. Plan spacing off the 7.44 inch diameter footprint if you are hanging a row over an island or a reception counter. There is no plug or cord set option, so a junction box and a switched feed are required.
4) What finish does the WAC Vornado 7 inch 3000K pendant come in?
Chrome, under part number PD-84907-T24-CH. The body is aluminum. If you are matching existing trim in a lobby or bath, the chrome is the one offered at the 3000K T24 configuration, so pair it with chrome or polished nickel plumbing and door hardware rather than brushed finishes.
