1) Will the WAC Lighting Exterminator II LED1052 track head fit standard H-track or does it need J-track?
The LED1052 Exterminator II is built as a J track fixture, so it mounts to J-style track only. If the runs in your space are H or L style track, this head will not seat in them and you need a head matched to that track profile. It runs on 120V line voltage track.
2) What beam angles does the Exterminator II LED1052 come in, and which should I use for a 12 foot ceiling?
Two beam spreads are offered, 25 degrees and 55 degrees. The 25 degree is a spot for punching a tight pool of light onto artwork, merchandise, or a feature wall from a high ceiling. The 55 degree is a flood for general accent coverage and overlapping pools along a run. On a tall ceiling most people go 25 degrees for objects and 55 degrees for broad wall grazing.
3) Can I get the LED1052 track head in a warmer or cooler color temperature to match my existing fixtures?
Four color temperatures are built: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K. 2700K matches incandescent warmth for hospitality and residential, 3000K is the common commercial warm white, 3500K is neutral for offices, and 4000K reads cool and clean for retail and galleries. Order every head on a run at the same CCT so the pools do not shift color down the track.
4) Can I use this WAC track head outdoors, on a covered patio, or in a walk-in cooler?
No. The LED1052 is rated for dry interior locations only. Covered exterior soffits, patios, bath ceilings over a shower, and refrigerated or wash-down spaces all call for a damp or wet rated fixture instead.
5) Do I need to order track and a power feed separately with these heads?
Yes. The LED1052 is the head only, not a complete system, so the J track sections, connectors, end caps, and the live end or floating canopy feed are separate line items. The LED module itself is included in the head, so there is no lamp to buy.
6) Does the Exterminator II track head come in a 90 CRI version for retail or gallery lighting?
Yes, CRI is a selectable option at either 85 or 90. Pick 90 CRI where color accuracy sells the product or the piece: apparel, food, cosmetics, artwork, and showroom finishes. 85 CRI is fine for circulation, general accent, and back-of-house.
7) Is the Exterminator II LED1052 dimmable, and does it qualify for utility rebates?
It dims, and it carries Energy Star qualification, which is what most utility and efficiency programs look for on LED track heads. It is ETL and cETL safety listed for the US and Canada.

Mounting is reversible, so the head can be oriented either way on the track.
9) Is there a lamp to replace when the LED in this track head burns out?
No socket and no relamping. It uses an integrated LED module rated at 100,000 average hours. At 12 hours a day that is well over 20 years of service, which is the reason facilities groups spec these over halogen PAR heads in high or hard-to-reach ceilings where a lift is needed for every lamp change.
10) Does the WAC Exterminator II LED1052 meet California Title 24 or ADA requirements?
The LED1052 is not Title 24 compliant and is not ADA compliant. For a California project under Title 24 residential or nonresidential lighting requirements, this head will not count toward compliance, and because it is a projecting track head it should not be used where an ADA protrusion limit applies on a wall-mounted run.
11) What finishes are available on the WAC LED1052 track head?
Black, brushed nickel, and white. Black is the usual pick when you want the head to disappear against a dark ceiling or in a gallery, white blends into drywall ceilings, and brushed nickel matches architectural metal trim. The housing is aluminum with a clear glass lens.
