1) What lengths does the WAC Lighting InvisiLED Outdoor Pro+ T24-OD1 tape light come in?
The T24-OD1 outdoor tape is sold in 1, 5, 10, 20 and 40 foot runs. The 1 foot piece is useful for a short step, riser or sign detail; the 40 foot run covers a long soffit or coping line without joining pieces. Every one of the five lengths is offered in all four color temperatures, so length and color are independent choices.
2) What color temperatures are available on the WAC T24-OD1 outdoor tape light?
Four: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K. For residential facades, decks and landscape walls most specifiers stay at 2700K or 3000K so the light reads warm against wood and stone. 3500K and 4000K are the choices for commercial entries, parking structures and signage where a cleaner, whiter light is wanted. All four are stocked in every length from 1 foot to 40 foot.
3) How do I read the WAC T24-OD1 part number to order the right tape light?
The number breaks into three parts after T24-OD1: length, then color temperature, then the P suffix. T24-OD1-10-30P is the 10 foot run at 3000K. T24-OD1-05-27P is 5 foot at 2700K, T24-OD1-20-35P is 20 foot at 3500K, and T24-OD1-40-40P is the 40 foot run at 4000K. The 1 foot uses 01, so T24-OD1-01-40P is a 1 foot piece at 4000K. Get the two middle codes right and the rest of the number never changes.
4) I already have this WAC outdoor tape on one building and need to add more. How do I make the new run match?
Match the color temperature code in the middle of the part number and ignore the length code. The InvisiLED Outdoor Pro+ tape is built in the same four color temperatures across every length, so a 1 foot infill piece at 3000K (T24-OD1-01-30P) is the same color as the 40 foot run at 3000K (T24-OD1-40-30P) already on the building. Property managers standardizing across several buildings only have to record one number, the 27, 30, 35 or 40 code.
