Metallics JHFW117 Washers 3/8 X 1-1/2 Octagnl St-zn (Jar 100)

The JHFW117 is a 3/8 inch octagonal washer, so it seats on 3/8-16 threaded rod or 3/8 inch bolts, the size most commonly used for hanging strut, trapeze, and conduit supports. Overall it measures 1-1/2 inches across the flats, giving a much larger bearing face than a standard 3/8 flat washer.

The wide 1-1/2 inch octagon spreads load over a bigger area than a standard round flat washer, which is what you want when the rod bears on strut, wood, sheet metal, or a slotted channel where a small washer would pull through or dimple the material.
