1) Is a lever or pull included with the Accentra 2100F, or do I order trim separately?
Exit only. The 2100F ships as a push-to-exit device with no outside trim, so there is no key or lever access from the pull side. If you need outside entry, add Accentra/Yale exit device trim as a separate line item and specify the cylinder format you are keying to, either large format or small format.
2) Can I use the Accentra 2100F on a pair of doors without a mullion?
Not on its own. A rim device latches into a strike on the frame, so with a pair you either need a removable mullion for the 2100F to latch against, or a vertical rod device that latches at the head and sill. On a fire rated pair the mullion has to be listed for that opening.
3) Is the Accentra 2100F approved for a fire rated opening?
Yes, the 2100F is a fire rated rim device and is both UL and ULC Listed. Note that fire rated exit devices do not permit mechanical dogging to be used in service, so the latch stays active on a fire door.

5) Do I need to specify handing when ordering the Accentra 2100F exit bar?
No handing to worry about. The 2100F is non-handed, so the same device works on a left or right hand opening. What you do need to pick is the length, the finish, and whether you want the windstorm certified build.
6) What is the windstorm option on the Accentra 2100F, and when do I need it?
The 2100F is offered in a standard build and a windstorm certified build, in each of the eight finishes. If your project is in a hurricane or high wind zone and the drawings call out a windstorm rated opening, order the windstorm version. For an interior stairwell or a corridor door, the standard build is what you want.
7) What kind of latch does the Accentra 2100F use and will it work with my existing rim strike?
It uses a Pullman type latchbolt, the Yale SquareBolt rim latch, which is the standard arrangement for a rim exit device latching into a surface mounted rim strike on the frame. If your opening already has a rim device with a rim strike, the strike type is the same family, but on a fire rated opening the strike has to be one listed with the device.
8) I need an exit device with electrified dogging or an alarm, not just exit only. What else is there?
The 2100F is a mechanical exit only device with hex key dogging, so it has no alarm and no electrified function. For electrified dogging, look at the Stanley Security QED Series Grade 1 heavy duty rim device with hex dog and electrified dogging. For a local alarm at the door, the Delaney 9000 Series Grade 1 heavy duty rim device comes with an alarm kit and C cylinder, though that one is not fire rated.
9) Can the Stanley QED111ED replace the Accentra 2100F on the same door?
Not as a like-for-like. The Stanley QED111ED is a Grade 1 heavy duty rim device with hex dogging and electrified dogging, and it is configured for an office, privacy or apartment function, meaning it works with outside trim for controlled entry. The Accentra 2100F is exit only, with any outside access coming from separately ordered Accentra trim, and it is fire rated. Electrified dogging is also generally incompatible with a fire door, so on a rated opening the 2100F function is the one to hold.
10) Which finishes does the Accentra 2100 Series exit device come in for matching other doors in a building?
