Yes. The Accentra 112 auxiliary deadbolt covers door thicknesses from 1-3/8 inches up to 2-1/4 inches, so a standard 1-3/4 inch commercial door sits right in the middle of that range. It also handles the thinner 1-3/8 inch interior doors common in older buildings and thicker doors up to 2-1/4 inches without a special order.
2) Do I need to specify handing when ordering the Accentra 112 auxiliary deadbolt?
No handing to specify. The 112 is non-handed, so one part works on a left or right hand door. What you do have to choose is the strike: the angle strike for inswinging doors, or the flat strike (model 112-1/4F) for outswinging doors. That is the only fit decision on the order.
3) Which strike should I order with the Accentra 112, angle or flat?
It follows the door swing. An inswinging door takes the angled strike, which is the standard build. An outswinging door takes the flat strike, ordered as model 112-1/4F. Both sides are keyed. The 112 is a double cylinder deadbolt: turning the key throws or retracts the bolt from either the outside or the inside, with no thumbturn. It also means anyone inside needs a key to get out, which matters for egress on occupied spaces, so it belongs on storage rooms, stockrooms, and back-of-house doors rather than a required exit.
