For the wet-location rating to hold you still need a gasketed cover sealed against the box; the machined cover edges on the Dry-tite line are there to give the gasket a clean seating surface.

It is a two-gang box, so it takes two devices side by side, for example a receptacle plus a switch, or two receptacles. It is the deep version of the universal weatherproof box, which gives you more room behind the devices for conductors and pigtails than a shallow box on the same footprint.
3) Is the Red Dot 2IHD5-2 sold individually or does the cover come with it?
