That is what the 9000 Series spacer plates are for. They offset the strike out from the frame face to take up a door gap, and they come in two thicknesses: the 9000-108 at 1/8 inch and the 9000-116 at 1/16 inch. Pick the thickness that matches the gap you are closing, and stack or step down as the opening requires. There is also a 9000-ASB aluminum spacer bracket in the same family for offsetting the strike.
2) Which HES electric strikes do the 9000 Series spacer plates work with?
The 9000 Series spacer plates fit the HES 9400, 9500, 9600, 9700 and 9800 Series electric strikes. If your strike is one of those five families, the plate mounts behind it. Anything outside that list is not covered.

5) Does the HES 9000 spacer plate include the strike, or do I order that separately?
The spacer plate is the offset plate only. It is an installation accessory that goes with an HES 9400, 9500, 9600, 9700 or 9800 Series electric strike, which is ordered separately. Order the plate thickness you need, 1/8 inch or 1/16 inch, plus the finish, and add the strike itself to the same order.
