American Standard Cadet 8-Inch Widespread Pedestal Sink Top - AMS-236008

No. The 236008.02 is the basin top only. You order the matching Cadet pedestal leg separately to reach the 35 inch overall height quoted for the assembled fixture. A mounting kit is supplied with the top.

Yes, a rear overflow is built into the basin, which means you use a standard lavatory drain assembly with an overflow port rather than a grid drain.

The Cadet pedestal top is styled to match American Standard Cadet toilets, so it lines up with an existing Cadet suite. It ships in white, which is the only finish offered on the 236008.02, so check the toilets in place are white and not bone or linen.

A pedestal like the Cadet 236008 hides the trap and supplies behind the leg, which looks finished in guest and residential baths and needs no carrier in the wall. A wall-hung lavatory is the better call where you need knee clearance underneath or floor space for cleaning, since the pedestal leg lands on the finished floor and still requires the rough-in to line up behind it.

There is. The basin has a faucet ledge with a generous shelf area plus a separate soap and accessory ledge, which is the practical difference between this and a bare-rim pedestal basin where everything ends up on the floor.
