American Standard Madera 15-Inch EverClean Toilet System With Touchless Selectronic Piston Flush Valve, 1.6 gpf/6.0 Lpf - AMS-3451660

The Madera 15-inch EverClean toilet system is offered in both 10-inch (254 mm) and 12-inch (305 mm) rough-in, so measure from the finished wall to the center of the closet flange before you order. Mixing them up leaves the bowl either off the wall or unable to set.

Inlet spud is 1-1/2 inches (38 mm), which is the commercial flushometer size, and the Selectronic piston valve supplied with the system matches it. A 1-1/4 inch valve or a tank-type toilet connection will not work on this bowl.

Yes on both counts. The Selectronic valve has a fully mechanical override button so a user can flush without power, and the valve closes automatically if power or water pressure is lost, so you don't get a running fixture in a restroom nobody is watching. Power comes from an 8-year CR-P2 lithium battery installed in the valve, so there is no hardwiring or transformer to run.

No. Rim height is 15 inches (381 mm), which is standard bowl height, not the taller ADA-compliant height. For an accessible stall you want a 16-1/2 inch rim Madera instead. The 15-inch version suits general-use commercial restrooms, schools, and children's or standard-height fixtures.

The trapway is fully glazed at 2-1/8 inches (54 mm) with a 2-inch (51 mm) minimum ballpass, and the flush is a direct-fed siphon jet. The glazed passage plus that ballpass is what moves paper and waste through in a heavy-use restroom rather than catching it at the trap.

It flushes 1.6 gpf / 6.0 Lpf, the standard commercial full-flush rate. If your project spec calls for a 1.28 gpf high-efficiency fixture, this is not the one.

Run-on usually comes from debris in the refill orifice holding the diaphragm or piston off its seat. This valve uses DynaClean, an integral wiper spring that cleans the refill orifice on every flush to keep that from happening. The valve body is also a proprietary brass alloy that resists dezincification, which matters where water chemistry is aggressive.

No. The 3451660 is sold as a system, bowl plus the touchless Selectronic piston flush valve with the battery already installed. You still need the seat and the closet bolts and wax or gasket seal for the set, plus a supply stop and control stop appropriate to your rough piping.

EverClean is an antimicrobial glaze on the bowl surface that inhibits growth of the bacteria, mold and mildew that cause stains and odors. It reduces how fast a bowl discolors between cleanings; it is not a substitute for a cleaning schedule.

White only, ordered as part number 3451660.02. If you are standardizing fixtures across a building, that keeps the match simple, there is no second color to specify.
