American Standard Prestige 71-1/2-Inch Height Framed Sliding Shower Door - AMS-AM00770436

The Prestige framed sliding door covers openings from 46 to 48 inches (1168 to 1219 mm). Measure your finished opening at the top, middle, and bottom of the curb or tub deck. If any of those measurements falls below 46 or above 48 inches, this is the wrong width and you need a different size door.

Overall height is 71-1/2 inches (1816 mm). That is measured from the top of the curb or tub deck where the bottom track sits, so add your tub or curb height to check clearance against a soffit, window, or shower valve wall above.

Yes. The Prestige door has a simple out-of-square adjustment built into the side jambs, so the frame can be shimmed and set plumb even when the alcove walls lean. That is the common condition in older bathrooms and multi-family rehabs, and it is what the adjustment range is there for.

Two bracketed towel bars are included with the Prestige door, mounted to the door panels. For a property manager replacing enclosures across units, that is one less accessory to order and one less wall anchor to drill.

Framed. The Prestige is a framed sliding (bypass) enclosure, meaning the glass is captured in aluminum on all sides and two panels slide past each other. It needs no hinge-side wall reinforcement and no floor clearance to swing, which is why it is the usual pick for tub alcoves and tight bathrooms. If you want a wider clear opening and a minimal look, a frameless hinged or pivot door is the alternative, but it demands a plumb, reinforced jamb wall.

The Prestige uses an easy-to-clean bottom track system, which matters more than it sounds in rental and hospitality work where soap scum in a deep sill track is the usual callback. The rollers ride on the top header and the bottom track guides the panels.
