American Standard 0059020EC.020 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Does the Murro sink shroud cover the p-trap and supply lines for ADA?
That is exactly its job. The china shroud doubles as a knee contact guard, concealing the supply lines and p-trap under a Murro or 9134 Decorum wall-hung sink so exposed piping cannot be contacted at the knee space, and American Standard states the shroud is ADA compliant. In an accessible restroom it replaces the wrap-style insulation kit approach with a solid china enclosure.
2) Do I need to buy separate mounting hardware for the American Standard shroud?
No extra kit needed. Shroud mounting hardware is included with the 0059020EC. What is not included is the sink itself, the trap, or the supply stops, so on a new install those get ordered alongside it. One shroud covers one bowl, in white, matched to the china.
3) What does EverClean do on an American Standard china shroud, and is it worth it in a public restroom?
EverClean is an antimicrobial surface fired into the china that inhibits growth of stain and odor causing bacteria, mold and mildew on the surface. On a shroud it matters more than it sounds, because the underside of a lavatory is a low-traffic cleaning zone that still gets splash and hand contact. It does not replace cleaning; it slows what grows between cleanings. The 0059020EC is specified as a commercial product, which is where that finish earns its place.
4) What color does the American Standard 0059020EC shroud come in?
White only, part number 0059020EC.020, which matches the standard white china on the Murro and 9134 Decorum bowls. If you are standardizing restrooms across a facility, that single finish keeps every opening identical without a color decision on the order form.
