The sophisticated design and geometric form of the TOTO GR 1.2 GPM Wall-Mount Single-Handle Bathroom Faucet is one that boasts a splendid presence. Incorporating sharp edges along with curves and slopes, creates an overall impression of regal elegance. The faucet features TOTO's innovative Comfort Glide™ Technology. This technology utilizes Diamond-Like Carbon coated ceramic cartridges for ultimate durability and protection against friction, allowing the user to control water flow in comfort with long-lasting ease of use. The GR faucet uses low-conductivity materials for parts that comes into contact with the handle. This safe design inhibits the heat flow, keeping the handle from getting too warm. The WaterSense® certified, high-efficiency 1.2 GPM water flow saves water without diminishing the performance of the faucet. The faucet is ADA, CEC, and CALGreen compliant. TOTO TLG02311U#CP – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Does the TOTO GR wall-mount bathroom faucet come with the rough-in valve, or do I have to order that separately?
The valve ships with it. The TOTO GR TLG02311U wall-mount faucet includes the spout, handle, and valve, so you are not buying a separate rough-in body. What is not included is the drain assembly, so plan on ordering a pop-up or grid drain to finish the lavatory.
2) What supply connections does the TOTO GR wall-mount faucet valve use?
1/2 inch NPT connections. That lets the valve tie into standard 1/2 inch threaded supply stubs in the wall, either directly or with adapters to copper or PEX at the rough-in.
3) How far does the TOTO GR wall-mount faucet spout reach out from the wall?
Reach is 8.88 inches. On a wall-mount lav that number decides everything: measure from the finished wall to the center of your basin drain and make sure the spout lands over the bowl, not behind the rim or past the front edge. Vessel bowls and shallow front-to-back basins are where this goes wrong.
4) Is the TOTO GR faucet ADA compliant for a public restroom?
Yes, it is ADA compliant, and the lever handle is what gets it there, operable without tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrist. It is also WaterSense certified and meets CEC and CALGreen requirements, which matters if you are specifying into a California project.
5) Will a 1.2 GPM faucet meet a green building flow requirement?
The GR faucet runs 1.2 GPM and carries WaterSense certification along with CEC and CALGreen compliance, which is the combination most efficiency specs and green building checklists call for on a public lavatory faucet.
6) What finishes does the TOTO GR wall-mount faucet come in?
Two: Polished Chrome, ordered as TLG02311U#CP, and Brushed Nickel, ordered as TLG02311U#BN. The suffix after the hash is the finish code, so match it across the rest of the GR collection if you are standardizing a floor of restrooms.
7) Does the TOTO GR faucet need batteries or power?
No. It is a manual lever-operated faucet with no battery and no electrical requirement, so there is nothing to wire and no battery box to service. If you need hands-free operation for a high-traffic restroom, you want a sensor faucet instead.
8) How durable is the TOTO GR faucet cartridge for heavy commercial use?
The handle runs on TOTO's COMFORT GLIDE ceramic cartridge with a Diamond-Like Carbon coating, which is there to resist friction wear so the handle feel stays consistent over years of cycles. The body is solid brass, and the parts touching the handle use low-conductivity materials so the lever does not heat up when hot water is running.
9) Where can I get the rough-in dimensions for the TOTO TLG02311U wall-mount faucet?
TOTO publishes both a spec sheet and a manual and parts sheet for the TLG02311U. Pull the spec sheet before framing or setting the valve, since a wall-mount faucet has to be roughed in at the right height and spread relative to the basin before the wall closes up. The parts sheet is what you want later for cartridge and aerator replacements.
