TOTO TCU814CR#01 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What exactly is the TOTO TCU814CR#01 part, a whole tank or just the lid?
It is the tank lid only, for a TOTO Promenade II one-piece toilet. No tank, no trim, no flush valve or fill valve comes with it. If your tank body is cracked or the flush internals are the problem, a lid will not solve it.
2) Will the TCU814CR#01 lid fit any TOTO toilet tank?
No. It is cut for the Promenade II one-piece model and nothing else. TOTO lids are model specific, so a Drake, Ultramax or Vespin lid will not interchange with it. Match the lid to the model stamped inside your existing lid or on the tank before ordering.
3) My Promenade II toilet lid cracked when a tenant dropped it. Can I just replace the lid?
Yes, that is what this part is for. On the Promenade II one-piece, the lid is a separate ceramic piece that sits on the tank, so a cracked or chipped lid is replaceable without pulling the fixture or swapping the whole toilet. Useful for multi-family and hospitality maintenance where the bowl and tank are still fine.
4) What is the #01 on the end of TOTO part number TCU814CR#01?
The suffix after the hash is TOTO's finish code. On TCU814CR#01 the #01 is Cotton White, so it matches a Promenade II in Cotton White. If your toilet is a colored body, you need the same base number with that color's suffix instead, or the lid will not match the bowl.
5) Does the TCU814CR#01 tank lid include the flush button or trip lever?
No trim is included. The TCU814CR#01 is supplied as the ceramic lid alone, so reuse your existing lever or trim, or order it separately as its own TOTO part.
