1) Which Von Duprin exit devices does the ACSI K-200 switch kit fit?
The K-200 request-to-exit switch kit is built for Von Duprin 33A, 35A, 98 and 99 series exit devices. It is a field-installed kit, so it goes into a device already hung on the door rather than requiring a new device. If you have a Von Duprin 55 series, the K-101 is the matching kit; for the 88 series it is the K-102.
2) What is the difference between the ACSI K-100 and the K-200 for Von Duprin 33A/35A/98/99 devices?
Both fit the same Von Duprin 33A, 35A, 98 and 99 devices. The K-200 is the DPDT version, meaning it gives you two independent switched circuits off one push bar actuation. The K-100 is the standard kit for those same devices. Pick the K-200 when you need the bar to do two things at once, for example drop a mag lock and simultaneously shunt or signal a separate panel.
3) Will an ACSI request-to-exit kit release a magnetic lock when someone pushes the exit bar?
That is one of its main uses. When the push bar of the exit device is depressed, the switch in the kit changes state and releases the mag lock instantly for free egress. The same switch action can be wired to trip a door alarm, shunt an alarm so authorized egress does not sound it, or signal a control console.
4) I have Sargent and Falcon exit devices in the same building, not Von Duprin. Is there an ACSI kit for those?
The K-200 only suits Von Duprin 33A, 35A, 98 and 99. It signals push bar actuation, not latch position.
