Handing is not an ordering decision here. The 4016 is field-reversible, so one part covers both leaves and a contractor stocking for a building does not have to split the order by hand.

Yes. The faceplate is adaptable to a flat, radius, or beveled door edge, which covers the common narrow stile aluminum profiles without needing a different part number for each edge condition.
