No. The ASB-32 is drilled lock-specific for the M32 Magnalock. The hole pattern for the mounting bolts and wire is matched to that lock, so a larger Magnalock needs its own spacer bracket rather than this one.
3) What finishes does the Securitron ASB-32 come in, and how do I order the right one?
Two anodized aluminum finishes: black anodized, ordered as ASB-32BK, and clear anodized, ordered as ASB-32CL. Clear is the usual pick against mill-finish aluminum storefront; black matches dark anodized frames. Nothing else changes between the two.
4) Does the ASB-32 bracket handle the strike side too, or just the magnet?
It includes a blind nut so the strike can be surface mounted, which is what you want when the door face won't take a through-bolt for the armature. The bracket itself mounts the M32 magnet to the frame header.
5) Do I need a spacer bracket like the ASB-32 on every maglock job?
No. On a flat frame header with clearance, the M32 mounts directly and no shim is needed. The ASB-32 comes into play specifically where a blade stop on the frame means the lock has to drop lower than its standard position. Check the stop profile on the opening before adding one to the order.
