The IX-DV supplied in the IXS-HBDV is the surface mounted version of the IP video door station. That matters on masonry, brick, or a glass front entry where cutting a flush back box is not practical. If your spec calls for a flush mount station, the surface IX-DV in this kit is not the one you want.
6) Is the IXS-HBDV intended for commercial buildings or for a house?
