The WAK14QB is a combination kit: 1/4 inch blue plastic wall anchors packed together with #10 x 1 inch hex washer head sharp point screws. The screws are steel with a zinc plating. You get the anchor and the matching fastener in one box, so there is nothing separate to source to make the set work.

The blue ribbed plastic anchors in the WAK14QB kit are 1/4 inch anchors, so they seat in a 1/4 inch hole. Drill the hole, tap the anchor flush, then drive the supplied #10 x 1 inch screw to expand it against the wall material.

Ribbed plastic anchors like these are made for drywall, plaster, and masonry where the load is light to moderate, think a device box cover, a low voltage bracket, conduit strap, or a sign. For anything heavy hanging off hollow drywall, a shelf, a TV mount, a grab bar, go to a toggle or strap toggle instead. The plastic anchor relies on friction in the hole, not on a wing behind the board.

The screws are steel with a zinc plating, which handles normal indoor and dry service conditions. Zinc is a sacrificial coating, so in a wet, washdown, coastal, or exterior setting it will eventually corrode, pick a stainless fastener for those spots. The plastic anchor body itself is not affected by moisture.

They are hex washer head screws, so a hex socket driver or nut setter seats them, no Phillips bit needed. The washer head gives a broad bearing surface against straps, brackets, and plates, and the sharp self-tapping point starts into the anchor without pre-threading. Electricians usually drive these with the same nut setter used for sheet metal screws.

Single size. The WAK14QB is all 1/4 inch blue anchors with #10 x 1 inch screws, not a mixed-diameter assortment. If you are stocking a service van or a maintenance shop and want more than one anchor size, you need to order the other diameters separately.
