The JTWA57 is a 5/16 inch diameter wedge anchor, so the hole in the concrete is drilled with a 5/16 inch carbide bit. Wedge anchors are sized to the anchor diameter, not oversized, and the hole must be drilled deeper than the 1-1/2 inch anchor length so the anchor can be set fully.
