Metallics WAKJ15RB – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size screw comes with the Metallics WAKJ15RB hollow wall anchor?
Each WAKJ15RB anchor is supplied with a #12 x 1-1/4 inch pan head screw with a square drive recess, so you'll want a square (Robertson) bit on the driver rather than a Phillips. The anchor itself is the 1/4 inch hollow wall size.
2) Can I use these wall anchors in solid concrete or brick?
No. These are hollow wall anchors, sized 1/4 inch, meant for drywall, plaster and other hollow substrates where the fastener needs something to expand or toggle against behind the panel. Solid concrete, block or brick calls for a masonry anchor instead, not a hollow wall type.
3) How many anchors are in a jar of Metallics WAKJ15RB?
The WAKJ15RB ships as a jar of 100 anchors, screws included. That's a stocking quantity for a van or a shop shelf when you're hanging boxes, raceway, straps and cover plates on drywall over and over.
