The J2512R is a 1/4 inch diameter sleeve anchor with a 1-1/4 inch overall length. Sleeve anchors of that length leave very little grip once you subtract the minimum embedment, so it is meant for thin attachments, light fixtures, conduit straps, and small brackets going into masonry, block, or concrete. If you are mounting through a thick plate or furring, step up to a longer anchor in the same 1/4 inch diameter.

Steel with a zinc plating. Zinc plated carbon steel is an interior or protected-location finish, fine for dry indoor masonry work such as conduit supports and equipment mounting. For hollow wall work use a toggle or a self-drilling drywall anchor instead, and for solid concrete or brick this sleeve anchor is the right type.

Round head. The J2512R comes as a complete assembly, round head machine bolt with the expansion sleeve, nut, and washer already on it, so there is no separate fastener to buy. The round head sits proud of the surface, so if you need the head flush with a finished wall or a floor, choose a flat (countersunk) head sleeve anchor instead.
