The TS610G carries a hot dip galvanized coating, which is the finish normally specified for exterior and damp concrete work such as rooftop equipment curbs, pole bases, ground level strut, and exterior slab mounting. For interior dry use a plain zinc anchor is the usual pick; for chlorides or pool chemistry, stainless is the right call instead.

A wedge anchor is drilled with a hole the same nominal diameter as the anchor, so the TS610G calls for a 3/4 inch carbide bit in the concrete. Drill deeper than your embedment, clean the hole, then drive the anchor through the fixture and tighten the nut to expand the clip.

Wedge anchors like the TS610G are for solid, cured concrete. The expansion clip needs continuous solid material to grip, so hollow block, brick, and mortar joints are not the right base. Use a sleeve anchor or a screen tube with adhesive in hollow masonry.

Wedge anchors of this type are supplied as a complete assembly, with the nut and washer on the threaded end from the factory. The TS610G comes 10 anchors to the box, so a single box covers a 10 hole base plate or two five hole layouts. Nothing else is needed to set them beyond a hammer drill, a 3/4 inch carbide bit, a blow out bulb or brush, and a torque wrench.

The 3/4 inch size is the heavy end of the range: generator and transformer pads, exterior lighting pole and bollard bases, large switchgear and panelboard stands, rooftop equipment rails, and anchoring structural steel or strut racks to concrete. The TS610G is a galvanized version of that anchor, so it suits the outdoor and unconditioned locations where this gear usually sits.
