1) What comes in the Arrow K100C cylinder kit?
The Arrow K100C is a cylinder kit covering KIK/KIL cylinders and a deadbolt cylinder, supplied in 626 satin chrome with a Schlage C keyway.
2) Will the Arrow K100C key into my existing Schlage C keyed system?
It ships cut for the Schlage C keyway, so it drops into a building already keyed on Schlage C without changing the key system. If your property runs an Arrow or other proprietary keyway, this kit is not the one to order.
3) Can I use the Arrow K100C to key an entry lever and a deadbolt alike on the same door?
That is what the kit is for. It carries the key-in-knob/key-in-lever cylinder and the deadbolt cylinder in one Schlage C keyway, so the lockset and the deadbolt on an apartment or office door take the same key.
4) Is the Arrow K100C a complete lockset or just the cylinders?
Cylinders only. The K100C supplies the keyed plug assemblies for a knob or lever lock and for a deadbolt; the lock chassis, latch, deadbolt body and trim are separate. Order it when you are rekeying or converting existing Arrow hardware to Schlage C, not when you need the whole lock.
5) Does the K100C cylinder kit come in any finish other than satin chrome?
One finish only: 626 satin chrome. That is the standard commercial finish and it matches typical 626 lever and deadbolt trim, but if the opening is finished in bronze or brass this kit will not blend.
6) What is the difference between a KIK and a KIL cylinder, and does this kit cover both?
KIK (key-in-knob) and KIL (key-in-lever) cylinders are the plug assemblies that live inside a knob or lever lock rather than in a mortise or rim housing. The K100C kit covers both formats plus a deadbolt cylinder, so a knob, a lever, and a deadbolt on the same opening can be brought onto one key.
