The SRX87 Sierra lever trim is built for Arrow's S1150, S1250, ED910 and PEC910 rim exit devices. It's the outside trim only, so you're mounting it to one of those device chassis already on the door, not buying a complete exit device.

No. The SRX87 is a single-thickness trim rated for 1-3/4 inch doors, which is the standard commercial door thickness. On a 1-3/8 inch door you'd need a trim with a thickness range, such as the Dormakaba E-Plex E5010 exit device lever trim (1-3/8 to 2-1/4 inches) or the Lockey 115P panic trim (1 3/16 to 2 inches).

Handing isn't a factor. The Sierra lever trim is reversible, so the same part covers left and right hand openings. Order by finish and cylinder type instead.

That depends on which version you order. The SRX87 is built in three cylinder configurations: Standard (Arrow keyway), Schlage C keyway for buildings already keyed to Schlage C, and SFIC prep less core, which is drilled for a small format interchangeable core you supply from your own system. Pick SFIC if your facility already runs interchangeable cores; pick Schlage C if you want the new door on the existing key.

It differs from the Arrow SRX87 in one important way beyond the device family: the K157ET is key-only trim, so there is no lever to turn - the key retracts the latch and the door is otherwise pull-only from the outside. The SRX87 gives you a Sierra lever on a rose with a cylinder. If a facility spec calls for Grade 1 classroom trim and the openings carry Corbin Russwin ED2200 or ED2400 devices, the K157ET is the fit; if the spec also calls for outside lever operation, it is not a substitute.

The Detex 08BN is the nearest match in the group: it is a classroom-function exit device trim with an S-lever and a mortise cylinder, built for Detex Value Series devices. The Arrow SRX87 is also classroom function, uses a Sierra lever on a rose, and is keyed. The practical difference is the device family each one bolts to - the SRX87 is made for Arrow S1150, S1250, ED910 and PEC910 series devices, while the 08BN fits Detex Value Series. Trim is not interchangeable across device brands, so match the trim to the device already on the door.

If the outside face is meant to be dead and the door is entered from elsewhere, straight pull trim is the simpler part; if that door has to be an entry point for staff, it is not.
