1) Will the B-Line 1M1R F meter breaker work on a 120/208V service, or is it 120/240V only?
The 1M1R F is a single-phase, 3-wire unit rated 120/240 V, and it is also listed for 120/208 V service (network single-phase off a wye system). Either way it is 1 phase, 3 wire with a 4-jaw meter socket, so it will not serve a 3-phase load.
2) Is the main breaker included with the 1M1R F, or do I have to order it separately?
The main breaker ships in the unit: one 100 A, 2-pole main circuit breaker. The enclosure itself is rated 100 A, so the breaker is matched to the can and no separate main needs to be sourced.
3) Does this Eaton B-Line meter breaker have enough interrupting capacity for my service?
It carries a 10 kAIC interrupting rating. That covers most residential and light commercial services fed from a typical utility transformer, but if the utility fault current at your service point exceeds 10,000 A you need a higher AIC assembly.
4) Can I surface mount the 1M1R F meter breaker on a block wall?
