The shelf measures 23.31 inches wide, which is the mounting width for a standard 19 inch EIA rack once the rail flanges are included. Usable depth is 30 inches and the shelf profile is 6 inches high, so allow at least 30 inches of clear depth behind the rack face on an open frame rack before ordering.

It is aluminum with a Telco gray powder coat finish. Aluminum does not rust the way bare steel does, and the powder coat adds a further barrier, so it holds up in unconditioned or humid telecom and MDF spaces better than a painted steel shelf.

This one is solid. A solid panel gives continuous support for point loads like batteries, transformers, or a UPS, and keeps small items from slipping through. If the gear you are shelving is fan-cooled from below and needs airflow through the shelf, a vented or wire shelf is the better choice; this 200 lb solid aluminum shelf is for load-bearing duty.

Telco gray powder coat is the standard finish across the Eaton B-Line series open frame racks, so the shelf matches existing B-Line telco gray uprights and accessories without a color mismatch on the rack face.
