B-LINE SB789AYZ – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What stringer size does the B-Line SB789AYZ runway to cabinet attachment kit fit?
The B-Line SB789AYZ kit is made for 3/8 inch by 1-1/2 inch stringer cable runway. If your runway stringer is a different profile, this kit won't bolt up correctly, so match the stringer dimension before ordering.
2) What does this B-Line kit actually attach the cable runway to?
It ties cable runway to an E2 style equipment cabinet. It's the bracket hardware between the runway stringer and the cabinet, not the runway itself and not a wall or ceiling support, so you still need your runway sections, ceiling supports and any wall angle separately.
3) How big and how heavy is the SB789AYZ kit for planning a cabinet install?
The kit measures 26 x 1.5 x 1.5 inches and weighs 4.8 lb. The 26 inch length is what lets it span across the top of a cabinet, so allow that much clear run between the runway and the cabinet frame.
4) What finish is on the yellow zinc B-Line runway attachment kit, and is it suitable for an indoor equipment room?
The hardware is finished in yellow zinc dichromate, a plated corrosion-resistant coating typical for indoor telecom and data room runway hardware. It is not a paint finish, so it won't colour-match black or grey painted runway.
5) How many options or sizes does the B-Line SB789AYZ come in?
One configuration only: model SB789AYZ, yellow zinc dichromate, for 3/8 x 1-1/2 inch stringer. There is no finish or length choice to specify when ordering, so the part number is all you need on the PO.
