B-Line Eaton series strut fittings and accessories, 1.62" Height, 6" Length, 6" Width, 3.30lbs, Steel, Square post base, centered offset, Fits channel

No. The B281ASS4 ships as the base fitting alone. You supply the concrete anchors or floor fasteners sized to your slab, plus the hardware that secures the channel to the base. For a 304 stainless base in a wet or exterior location, match the fasteners in stainless as well so you are not pairing dissimilar metals at the joint.

Steel construction with a type 304 stainless finish. That makes it suitable for damp and washdown locations and outdoor rooftop strut runs where a painted or plain galvanized base would rust at the anchor holes.

It anchors a vertical length of strut to a floor, slab or equipment pad and gives the post a flat bearing plate to sit on. The centered offset means the channel sits over the middle of the 6 inch square plate rather than flush to one edge, so anchor holes fall symmetrically around the post. Use it for free-standing strut stands, rooftop pipe supports and equipment frames.

The plate is 6 inches by 6 inches with a 1.62 inch overall height, and the fitting weighs 3.3 lb. Lay that against your pad or curb before you drill, a 6 inch footprint needs clear edge distance on all four sides for your anchors.

No certification is claimed for this post base, it is a structural strut fitting rather than a listed electrical device. Where a support assembly has to meet a listing requirement, that requirement normally attaches to the raceway or equipment being supported, not the base.
