B-Line Eaton series strut fittings and accessories, 4.62" Height, 14" Length, 1.62" Width, 2.74lbs, Steel, Single channel bracket, Uniform load capaci

The B409-14GRN carries a uniform load capacity of 800 lbs. That is the bracket rating only, so the strut, the fasteners and the anchor into the structure all have to be rated for at least as much before the 800 lbs means anything on your job.

Yes. At 1.62 in wide it matches the 1-5/8 in nominal width of standard strut channel, which is what a single channel bracket is built to sit against. Fasten it with strut nuts and bolts sized for your channel; it is a single channel bracket, so it mounts to one run of strut, not between two.

DURA GREEN is Eaton B-Line's coated steel finish, and it is what you order this bracket in. It is a painted/coated carbon steel part rather than stainless or hot-dip galvanized, so treat it as suited to dry or sheltered interior electrical and mechanical work. For sustained wet, washdown or coastal exposure, specify a hot-dip galvanized or stainless strut bracket instead.

No. It is supplied as the bracket alone, so order channel nuts, bolts and any washers separately, plus the strut itself and the anchors into the wall, deck or ceiling. Plan the fastener hardware into the same order or you will be short on the install.

Order Eaton B-Line B409-14GRN. The B409 is the single channel bracket series, 14 is the 14 in length, and GRN is the DURA GREEN finish. That one part number covers the whole configuration, there are no further options to specify.

That is the normal use. The B409 bracket bolts to a strut run and gives you a 14 in cantilever arm to hang conduit straps, pipe clamps or light tray off a wall or column, with an 800 lbs uniform load rating on the bracket. For heavier trapeze runs or where you need support from both sides, use a double channel bracket or a full trapeze assembly instead of a single channel bracket.
