(1CD, 1CDP, 1CDF, or 1CDX) must be used with escutcheon trims, and 1EK7K4 high security cylinder must be used with sectional trims.

Auxiliary bolt – Stainless steel, non-handed.
Backset – 2-3/4"

Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness (standard 1-3/4" or thick door configuration up to 5"), mortise pocket dimensions, and handing requirements.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and frame surfaces for proper backset alignment.
3. Prepare door mortise pocket to accommodate case dimensions of 5-7/8" H x 7/8" D x 4-1/16" W with appropriate clearances for installation.
4. Install lockbody into mortise pocket and secure with four case cover screws at each corner for enhanced case integrity.
5. Configure four-position hub toggle to determine locked/unlocked operation for each hub based on application requirements.
6. Test latch and deadbolt operation to verify proper alignment, smooth function, and complete 3/4" latch throw and 1" deadbolt throw. Refer to manufacturer documentation for complete installation details and troubleshooting.
