(1CD, 1CDP, 1CDF, or 1CDX) must be used with escutcheon trims, and 1EK7K4 high security cylinder must be used with sectional trims.

Auxiliary bolt – Stainless steel, non-handed.
Backset – 2-3/4"

Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness (standard 1-3/4" or up to 5" thick door configuration), backset dimensions, and handing requirements.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and frame surfaces for proper mortise preparation.
3. Prepare door mortise cavity according to case dimensions (5-7/8" H x 7/8" D x 4-1/16" W) and drill required holes per manufacturer specifications.
4. Install lockbody in mortise cavity and secure with appropriate fasteners per manufacturer torque specifications, ensuring proper alignment with door edge.
5. Configure four position hub toggle settings for desired operation (always locked, always unlocked, or locked by key) and verify latch reversibility if handing change is required.
