Bobrick 352-122 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What does the Bobrick 352-122 key open?
The 352-122 is Bobrick's CAT-118 security key. It opens Bobrick washroom accessories fitted with the CAT-118 security locking system. If the unit on your wall was built with Bobrick's older CAT-74 lock, this key is not the one for it, since CAT-118 is the system that replaces CAT-74.
2) I have Bobrick dispensers with CAT-74 locks, will this CAT-118 key work on them?
No. CAT-118 is a different locking system that replaced CAT-74, and the 352-122 key is cut for CAT-118. For the older units you need the CAT-74 key. Worth checking your units before you standardize a keyring, since CAT-74 was the standard lock on most Bobrick accessories and mixed buildings often carry both.
3) Do all Bobrick washroom accessories use the CAT-118 key?
No, only select Bobrick units are built with the CAT-118 system. The standard lock on most Bobrick accessories is CAT-74, so a facility with a mix of older and newer Bobrick fixtures will need both keys to service every unit.
4) How do I order the Bobrick CAT-118 key, is there more than one version?
There is one version, model 352-122. That is the full Bobrick part number for the CAT-118 security key, with no size, finish, or keying choice to specify. Facilities usually order several so each custodian carries one.
