Bobrick B-2800-104 Lock and Key (Lower) CAT 118
- The Bobrick #2800-104 Cam Lock is Bobrick's alternate locking system and uses key style (CAT-118). It is specifically designed to add additional security to select Bobrick® Dispenser Models.

1) Which Bobrick dispensers does the 2800-104 cam lock fit?
The Bobrick 2800-104 cam lock is the lower lock for the discontinued B-2800 and the B-2802 Series dispensers. No current Bobrick dispenser model uses it, so it is strictly a service part for older units still in service. That list is the best known set of dispensers using this lock design and may not be complete, so compare your existing cam body and latch against the 2800-104 detail images before you order.
2) Will my existing Bobrick key work with the 2800-104 lock?
Only if your current key is a Bobrick CAT-118. The 2800-104 is keyed to the CAT-118 key style and ships with two of those keys. If your building is standardized on a different Bobrick key style, installing this lock means that dispenser will no longer open with the key your staff carry, and you would need the cam lock matched to your existing key style instead.
3) Many Bobrick cam locks look the same. How do I confirm the 2800-104 is the right one for my dispenser?
Looks are the trap here. Bobrick cam locks share a family appearance but differ in cam body size, the size and shape of the latch, and the direction the key turns. Measure the cam body and latch on the lock you are pulling out and compare it against the 2800-104 cam body and latch detail images, and check it against the Bobrick Cam Lock Reference Guide before ordering. If the latch shape or key rotation doesn't match, the lock will thread in but won't secure the door.
4) What does "Lower" mean on the Bobrick 2800-104 lock and key?
It identifies the lock position on the dispenser. The 2800-104 is the lower lock on the B-2800 and B-2802 Series units, which carry more than one lock point. Ordering the lower lock when you need an upper one gets you a lock with the wrong cam and latch geometry for that opening.
5) Is the Bobrick 2800-104 a genuine Bobrick part or an aftermarket lock?
It is a Bobrick Washroom Equipment manufactured OEM replacement cam lock system, not an aftermarket copy. For facilities that have to document like-for-like repairs on Bobrick washroom equipment, that matters.
6) Can I buy the Bobrick 2800-104 as extra keys only?
The 2800-104 is sold as a complete cam lock set: lock body, retaining nut, and two CAT-118 keys. It is the assembly, not a key-only item, so if the lock body itself is intact and you only lost keys, you are paying for hardware you already have.
7) We service a lot of older Bobrick washroom units. Is this part worth stocking on the truck?
