Bobrick 4706-175 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Which Bobrick washroom units does the B-4706-175 lock and key fit?
The B-4706-175 security lock and key is the replacement set for Bobrick models B-4706, B-47064 and B-47069. If the unit on your wall is one of those three, this is the correct lock. For any other Bobrick accessory, match the lock to that model instead.
2) Is the CAT-118 key the same as the CAT-74 key on my other Bobrick dispensers?
No. The B-4706-175 uses the CAT 118 security key system, which replaces the CAT-74 system that is standard on most Bobrick accessories. A CAT-74 key will not operate it, so if your building is keyed CAT-74 today, moving one unit to CAT-118 means carrying a second key unless you convert the rest.
3) Does the Bobrick B-4706-175 come with the key or just the lock?
Both. It ships as a lock and key set, the security lock plus the CAT 118 key, so you are not sourcing the key separately when you change out a damaged or lost-key lock.
4) I manage several buildings and want every washroom dispenser on one key. Can I standardize on CAT-118?
Yes, that is what this part is for. The 352-122 CAT 118 security key locking system is a direct substitute for the CAT-74 system Bobrick installs as standard, so you can swap locks unit by unit and bring a fleet of accessories onto a single key. Order one lock and key set per unit being converted, matched to that unit's model.
5) Is this a partition latch or a dispenser cabinet lock?
It is the security lock that secures the cabinet on a Bobrick washroom accessory, not a restroom partition door latch. It is the tumbler and key that keep the unit closed against tampering and refill theft.
