Bobrick 1000821 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Will the B-1000821 headrail fit partitions other than Bobrick 120-1042 Series?
It's specified for the Bobrick 120-1042 Series. Headrail profiles differ between manufacturers and even between series within one manufacturer, since the pilaster tops and shoe brackets are prepped to a particular section. Match the series on the existing partitions before ordering this rail rather than assuming a generic fit.
2) What is the Bobrick B-1000821 headrail used for?
It's the overhead headrail for Bobrick 120-1042 Series toilet partitions, the horizontal rail that ties the pilasters together across the top of a braced-overhead compartment run. It is partition hardware, not a stall panel or door, so it's the part you order when the existing rail is bent, corroded, or missing after a demolition.
3) Does the Bobrick B-1000821 headrail come finished or does it need to be finished on site?
It ships raw. The 1000821 headrail is supplied unfinished, so if you need it to match anodized or powder-coated rail on the rest of a partition run, it has to be finished before install. Buyers standardizing the look across a restroom should plan for that step.
4) Is the Bobrick 1000821 a replacement part or part of a complete partition?
Replacement part only. The 1000821 is a single headrail component under Bobrick's washroom partition hardware, so pilasters, panels, doors, brackets and fasteners are separate line items. For an MRO repair you usually only need the rail; for a new compartment you'll be ordering the full set of partition components alongside it.
5) How many versions of the Bobrick B-1000821 headrail are there to choose from?
One. The headrail is offered as a single model, 1000821, in raw finish, so there's no length, finish, or handing selection to make when ordering.
