Bobrick 1002380 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the Bobrick B-1002380 and what does it do on a toilet partition?
It's an 84 inch headrail for Bobrick toilet compartments. The headrail is the anti-grip top rail that spans the pilasters, ties the compartment together at the top and carries the door hardware alignment. It's a replacement partition hardware component, not a complete stall.
2) Which Bobrick partition series does the 84 inch B-1002380 headrail fit?
It is the headrail for Bobrick 1032, 1042 and 1842 series compartments. If your stalls are one of those series and the run calls for an 84 inch rail, this is the matching part. Bobrick partition series are not cross-compatible on headrail, so match the series stamped on your existing hardware.
3) Can I cut the 84 inch Bobrick headrail down to fit a shorter compartment run?
Bobrick supplies headrails in set lengths, and 84 inches is what this one is. Field cutting an anti-grip extruded rail leaves an unfinished end that won't seat in the wall bracket properly, so order the rail length that matches your run rather than trimming this one.
4) Is this headrail part of the door hardware or the mounting hardware?
Neither, strictly. The B-1002380 is the structural top rail itself. Brackets, hinges, latches and strikes are separate partition hardware items and are not part of this rail, so check what else your repair needs before ordering.
