Bobrick 1002375 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) How long is the Bobrick B-1002375 headrail, and can I cut it down for a shorter run?
It is an 84 inch length, model 1542. Headrail is normally ordered long and field cut to the actual compartment run, so an 84 inch piece covers any span up to 84 inches; it will not reach a longer run, which needs a longer rail or a splice at a pilaster.
2) I'm replacing a damaged top rail on a restroom stall. Do I need anything else with this Bobrick headrail?
The 84 inch 1542 headrail is the rail only. Wall and pilaster brackets, the fasteners into the pilaster tops, and any door hardware (hinges, latch, bumper) are separate items, so check what came off the old rail before you order. If the existing brackets are intact and the new rail is the same profile, reusing them is the usual approach.
3) What is the Bobrick 1542 headrail used for on toilet partitions?
The Bobrick B-1002375 is an 84 inch headrail, the horizontal top rail that spans across toilet compartment pilasters and stiles to brace them and carry the door hardware. It is partition hardware for washroom compartments, sold as a replacement or spare component rather than a complete stall.
4) Will the Bobrick 1542 headrail match the rails already on my other toilet compartments?
It matches where the existing compartments are Bobrick and use the 1542 headrail profile. Headrail extrusions differ in profile and height between manufacturers and between a manufacturer's own partition series, so pull the old rail and compare the cross section and the bracket footprint before mixing it with another brand's stalls.
