Bobrick 2112-34 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the Bobrick 2112-34 window and o-ring used for?
It's a replacement repair part for Bobrick washroom products, consisting of the sight window and its o-ring seal. Order it when the window on the unit is cracked, clouded, or leaking past a worn o-ring, rather than replacing the whole dispenser.
2) Does the Bobrick 2112-34 window and o-ring fit units made after June 1997?
No. The 2112-34 is the pre-June-1997 window and o-ring. Bobrick changed the part at that date, so if your unit was built after June 1997 this one won't seat correctly and you need the later-production window kit instead. Check the manufacture date on the unit before ordering.
3) Does the Bobrick 2112-34 come with the o-ring, or do I have to buy that separately?
Both pieces come together. The 2112-34 is sold as a window and o-ring set, so you get the seal with the window and don't need a separate gasket line item on the order.
4) I manage several buildings with Bobrick washroom dispensers. Can I stock one window part for all of them?
Not reliably. Bobrick split this part at June 1997, and the 2112-34 covers the earlier production only. If your properties were fitted out across different years, you'll need to identify each unit's vintage and stock both the pre-1997 window and the later version rather than standardizing on one.
5) What model number do I give my supplier for the pre-1997 Bobrick window?
Ask for Bobrick B-2112-34, model 2112-34. That designation is specific to the pre-June-1997 window and o-ring, so quoting it avoids getting shipped the later-production part.
6) Is the Bobrick 2112-34 a complete dispenser or just a component?
Just a component. It's a service part, the clear window plus its o-ring, not a full washroom unit. If the housing or the mechanism is the problem, the window kit won't solve it.
