Bobrick 2112-38 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Which Bobrick soap dispensers does the B-2112-38 window and O-ring fit?
The B-2112-38 refill-indicator window with O-ring is for Bobrick soap dispenser models B-2111 and B-2112. If the dispenser on your wall is a different Bobrick model, this window won't be the right part for it.
2) Does the Bobrick B-2112-38 come with the O-ring, or do I have to order that separately?
Both pieces come together. The B-2112-38 is the clear acrylic refill-indicator window plus its O-ring, so you have the seal for the window opening in the same part number.
3) My soap dispenser's sight window has gone cloudy or cracked - can I replace just the window instead of the whole dispenser?
Yes, on Bobrick B-2111 and B-2112 dispensers the window is a serviceable part. The B-2112-38 is the replacement clear acrylic refill-indicator window with its O-ring, so a hazed, scratched or broken sight glass does not mean replacing the dispenser body or remounting anything.
4) What does the refill indicator window on a Bobrick soap dispenser actually do?
It is the small clear acrylic port that lets housekeeping see the soap level in the reservoir, so the dispenser gets topped up before it runs dry instead of on a guess. That is why a clouded or missing window matters on a high-traffic restroom route - it costs you the visual check.
5) What finish does the Bobrick B-2112-38 window kit come in?
It is supplied in satin finish, matching the satin-finish stainless look of the B-2111 and B-2112 dispensers, so a replaced window doesn't stand out against the rest of the units in a standardized washroom.
