Bobrick 3502x2-22 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What Bobrick unit does the B-3502x2-22 lock and key fit?
The B-3502x2-22 is the replacement lock and key for the discontinued Bobrick B-3502 washroom accessory unit, and specifically for the lower position on that unit. If the cabinet you are servicing is a different Bobrick model number, this is not the right lock.
2) Is the old Bobrick 344-22 lock the same part as the B-3502x2-22?
Same part, new designation. Bobrick's 344-22 lock and key was renumbered B-3502x2-22, so an order for the current number covers a maintenance record that still lists 344-22.
3) My Bobrick B-3502 cabinet is discontinued. Can I still get a lock for it instead of replacing the whole unit?
Yes. Even though the B-3502 washroom accessory unit itself is discontinued, the lock and key is still available as a service part, so a facility with these cabinets in service can rekey or repair rather than swap the cabinet.
4) The B-3502 has more than one lock. Which one is the -22?
The B-3502x2-22 is the lower lock on the B-3502. If the lock you are replacing sits in the upper position on that cabinet, you need the corresponding upper service part rather than this one.
5) Does the Bobrick B-3502x2-22 come with a key or just the lock cylinder?
It ships as a lock and key set, so you get the operating key with the lock. Order one per lock position you are replacing.
6) Will this Bobrick lock work on a toilet partition door or a paper towel dispenser from another brand?
No. This is Bobrick washroom accessory hardware made for the B-3502 unit only. It is not a partition door latch and it will not drop into another manufacturer's dispenser or cabinet prep.
