Bobrick 47069 25 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Can the Bobrick B-47069 be set up for free vend to meet free menstrual product laws in schools?
Yes. Order Bobrick part No. 3706-250, the free vend conversion kit, to satisfy free menstrual product requirements in schools. The vendor is also offered in a no-coin model if you want free vend out of the box rather than converting a coin unit.
2) Is the Bobrick B-47069 vendor ADA compliant for a public restroom?
It is listed as ADA compliant. Operation is push button requiring less than 5 lb of force, with no grasping, pinching or twisting of the wrist, which is the operable-parts criterion facility buyers are usually checking.
3) Will the B-47069 key alike with the Bobrick paper and soap dispensers already in my restrooms?
Yes. The two flush tumbler door locks are keyed like other Bobrick washroom accessories, so one key serves the fleet. The coin box has its own separate lock so cash access can be restricted to management while housekeeping still loads product.
4) What is the difference between the single-coin and no-coin versions of the Bobrick B-47069?
The single-coin model vends on one or two quarters and includes the coin return, coin box and separately keyed coin box lock. The no-coin model dispenses without payment, which is what most schools and many offices now specify. If you already own a coin unit, the 3706-250 free vend conversion kit gets you to the same result.
5) What coins does the Bobrick B-47069 25 accept, and can it be changed to 50 cents later?
It runs on single-coin slots and accepts one or two quarters, U.S. or Canadian. Field conversion from 25 cents to 50 cents is straightforward. Pennies, nickels and dimes bypass the mechanism and drop into the product tray, as do coins returned by the push-button coin return when someone cancels a selection.
6) How many napkins and tampons does the Bobrick B-47069 hold before it needs a refill?
Capacity is 30 tampons and 20 napkins. Loading needs no weights, and when a column runs out the empty product indicator automatically blocks the coin slot so users are not charged for a product that is not there.
7) What material is the Bobrick B-47069 vendor, and will it hold up in a high-traffic public washroom?
Exposed surfaces are type 304 satin-finish stainless steel, the standard choice for high-traffic commercial washrooms because it resists corrosion and hides wear and cleaning marks. The unit is all stainless construction with flush tumbler locks rather than protruding hardware.
