1) Will the Bobrick B-823 soap dispenser work on a thick stone or solid surface countertop?
The B-823 is a counter- or deck-mounted foam dispenser built for lavatory decks up to 3 inches thick, so it covers most solid surface, quartz and stone tops. Thicker than 3 inches and the shank will not reach through to secure the mounting. Overall height of the unit is 18-13/16 inches, which includes the portion below the deck.
2) Does the Bobrick B-823 dispense foam soap or liquid soap?
Foam only. The B-823 pump is built for foaming soap and will not perform correctly with thick liquid or lotion soaps. If your building is standardized on liquid hand soap, this is the wrong dispenser for that program.
3) Can the B-823 be refilled from above the counter, or does the janitor have to get under the sink?
Top fill. The B-823 has an integrated funnel in the top of the unit, so refills happen at the deck without opening the cabinet or pulling the tank. For a facility crew running a route of restrooms, that is the difference between a 15-second refill and a trip under the lavatory with a flashlight.
4) How much soap does the Bobrick 823 hold before it needs a refill?

5) Is the Bobrick B-823 vandal resistant enough for a public or school restroom?
It is built for that use. The cover and spout both lock to resist tampering, the body and shank are high-impact-resistant ABS, and the container is shatter-resistant polyethylene rather than glass. Exposed parts are corrosion resistant, which matters in a wet, frequently cleaned washroom.
6) Will the 4 inch spout on the Bobrick 823 reach far enough over the bowl?
Spout length is 4 inches (100mm) from the escutcheon. On a standard drop-in or undermount lavatory with the dispenser set in the deck hole beside the faucet, that puts soap over the bowl. On a wide-ledge or vessel-style lav where the mounting hole sits well back from the bowl, measure the setback first, because 4 inches may drop soap on the counter instead of in the basin.
7) What finish is the Bobrick B-823, and will it match chrome faucets?
