Yes. The YGL29C29 HYGRID cross grid connector takes a run of 2 AWG stranded through 250 kcmil copper wire, a 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch rod, or #3 to #4 rebar, and taps a 2 AWG stranded through 250 kcmil copper conductor onto it. A 4/0 copper tap on a 5/8 inch rod falls inside both ranges.
2) What die do I need to crimp the YGL29C29?
